Initially, when I went in to purchase tires everything went well. I spent almost $1000 on new tires. However, when I went back to redeem my free oil change which was offered to me, the service level declined. On my first attempt, I called on Friday morning and asked about coming in early afternoon. I was advised that would be fine. I inquired if I needed to schedule an appointment. I was told no. I arrived a little before 3, set up the service order and say down to wait. After 50 mins I inquired about timeframe. I was told it would be another 30 mins before they could pull my vehicle into the bay. I stated that I couldn't wait that long and requested to come back Monday. This time I made an appointment for 3pm. I returned Monday at 3 to try again. After about 30 mins I inquired as to time expectations. Was told still 2 more appointments ahead of me and that there was only one technician working.
Please understand, I did not expect immediate service. I know things can get backed up. But considering I did schedule an appointment, I don't feel having to wait upwards of an hour before my vehicle is even pulled into the bay is acceptable. Having only one technician is unacceptable. In addition, the gentleman I spoke with really didn't seem to care if I stayed or not. He offered no apology and was actually quite dismissive.
I left. Without the service. It was easy to spend $900+ on tires. But not so easy afterwards.

While waiting for service for my vehicle, I visited your website and read many reviews. The responses seemed generic, and my experience was not going well. After ordering, I visited your Lascassas Pike location to get two new tires and an alignment.
After being notified that the tires had arrived, I told the salesman I would be down that morning to have them put on. When I arrived, I was the only customer there. I waited for almost 7 hours before they got the job done. Sadly, the tires were more expensive than your competitors. I didn't complain about the price, as I already had an alignment policy that was about to expire. I thought I would get the tires replaced there for convenience. However, the service was terrible, and communication was even worse. I saw other people come in without an appointment and leave after getting the same services. One customer even got a complete brake job done without an appointment.
When I cashed out at 5:45 pm, I didn't even receive an apology for the ridiculously long wait or even a thank you for my business. I wasn't offered a discount for the inconvenience or even asked if I wanted to extend my alignment policy or add a road hazard policy. If they were too overwhelmed or were too busy to deal with me, they should have said so, even if it was after I arrived. I was waiting as the only customer in the lobby for the longest time.
The customer service was terrible, and the communication was even worse. The store manager was also acting as the service manager. You would assume he would want to stay on top of everything, but there seems to be a significant lack of motivation at this location. I even witnessed some unethical practices of upselling a frequent customer without properly inspecting her vehicle. These are the reasons why people like me who are disabled still have to handle these problems. People tend to take advantage of those who do not know. Overall, I am very disappointed in Tire Discounters and how poorly operated this location has become. He had some issues driving to school so we took his F150 Harley Davidson truck in. First day they balanced them and said he needed new rotors and brakes and could do it next day. No problem. He took it back and when picked up he was missing is Harley lug nut cap. They told him they had issues getting it on and it must have fallen off. I called manager and all he gave me was, “we had a hard time but it left with four and must have fallen off.” No offer to admit they didn’t get it on good or discount. Paid full price for rotors and brakes and no offer at all to help. Those are hard to find and expensive. So much for finding a reliable source for your child while away. Each time I have been there for an oil change and tire rotation it has taken at minimum 1 1/2 hours. This time I made an appointment, only to be told when I got there that 'it may be a while, because we had some jobs come in that turned out to be big jobs'. I find it irritating that this becomes MY problem-that is precisely why I made an appointment. I am a reasonable person, but if you cannot honor an appointment time, DON'T TAKE APPOINTMENTS!!! In the past, even though I was annoyed because of the time issue, the staff has always been pleasant, but this visit they were not. They weren't rude . . .just . .meh. Like they couldn't be bothered. I do not have much knowledge when it comes to cars and am always afraid of being taken advantage of. However, this place was extremely truthful and did not do any repairs which were unnecessary. Asked for tire rotation and an alignment(all services I purchased earlier this year when I bought my 4 tires). This morning, the tire light was on again and strangely it's the same tire that has been low in the same location on the car!!! So I'm assuming the tires where not rotated and I still am losing air. By the way this is the second time I've gone to have this problem and both times they haven't found a problem.
