Miscommunication on the time it would be finished which resulted in my car spending the weekend there. I called the following Monday and was told it would be ready in a few hours. I called again and was told it was ready. I went to pick it up and saw it had not moved from the original location. I made an appointment on-line a week in advance. The confirmation was correct that I would be waiting on my car. However, when I arrived for my 9:00 appointment I was told it was entered that I would be leaving my car and picking it up later. I ended up waiting 2 hrs for the $99 road ready package which ended up costing me $143. I was told my Kia Sorento takes more than the standard 5 quarts and would be charged more. I was placed in line behind someone else who came in at 9. I ended up waiting 2 hrs for my car. I walked out feeling ok with everything and had a lovely conversation with another woman waiting on her car. But then later that afternoon when I was getting into my car I looked back at my rear drivers side tire and noticed the cap on the valve was gone. Which is how I know my tires weren’t rotated or balanced. I lost that cap a while back on that exact tire. On closer inspection of all of my tires I could tell they were not rotated since the dirt on every rim was not disturbed at all. If I’m not mistaken the valve caps are also switched to green at TD? I double checked my receipt to make sure that I was correct that a balance and rotate were part of the special and it was on there. I have not had a chance to call the store for a partial refund. I was told I needed new tires and given a quote but will have them checked somewhere else since I can’t really trust what I was told. The rest of the time it's been a mess. I bought a set of tires there and they put different sizes on front and back. They are never on time.

They were "out" of sensors. They did not check my front wheel bearing noise. They did rotate my tires at N/C. An appointment was made 5 days in advance for all of this work, they should have had a sensor on hand.

When I arrived they didn't have my requested tires but had a much more expensive set in store. I ended up leaving my car. They told me my tires would be in the next day. They never called to update me. I called them the following day (2 days later) thinking my car would surely be ready. I was then informed that there was no work order for my car and that they couldn't find my keys! (They eventually found them) I had to work so I borrowed my sons car and told them I could pick up my car Friday and they told me it would be ready. It was. As I was waiting to pay and get my car the employees were talking poorly about "idiots that call" and are still on hold after 20 mins. They had this open conversation loudly in front of everyone waiting. Incredibly unprofessional. I paid and nothing was said about how badly they had messed up. This is the second time I've had to wait for days for my car to get tires. Before that I always had a good service and thought that my last bad experience was an anomaly but apparently this is their new M.O. He helped me with a tire problem and the technicians took care of the problem in a timely fashion. After I left the store, a "low pressure light" came on the dashboard display, so I returned to TireDiscounters. I have used a national chain service facility in Bellevue for eleven years. It has never felt like a partnership. The prices were great so I tolerated the feeling they never had my best interest in mind. I average over $8000 a month in services and never felt appreciated. The service advisers and GM of the old service facility would sometimes not even acknowledge my presence when I would be waiting for service. I have regularly had to take tires I bought from them to other facilities to have them road force balanced. On many occasions we found the tires were mis-balanced or that the tires were bad. They always replaced the tires but made me feel like I was the difficult one when their tires were found to be defective. Over the years I have referred my clients to them for service and had to apologize to my clients on regular basis for their experience there also.
I service my cars to meet manufacturer certified requirements so it is important to be budget conscious to be able to afford the high standards of service required. I do oil changes, replace tires, brake jobs, alignments, and transmission services on most cars. Over the years I have replaced tires that came on the cars I purchased with plenty of tread because they could not get them to ride well. I believe they would rather sell me tires than to correct the ones on it.
In early July I decided to give Tire discounters a chance to earn my business. The first few cars went smoothly and I felt very appreciated all the way through. Last week I had two vans with tires that I honestly expected to have to replace since they rode so poorly. I know they went the extra mile to get the tires to balance. They had to dismount and turn several of the tires. The entire spirit of the organization is different than I have ever experienced in a service facility. I really feel like they have my best interest in mind.
The final item of consideration was pricing. The tire prices are competitive. The no charge services like the inspection and the alignment with tire purchases has made the relationship a better value.
I have since been referring my clients to them and I have yet to have any comments other than "what a difference."
In summary the experience has been great and I am pleased to have made the switch.

Have been there 3 times since they opened; the first two times, they didn't charge me for the work they performed (repairing a flat tire)--unheard of but within their company policy. Then, I walked in without an appointment on a busy Saturday morning and hoped they might be able to work me in sometime that day (I requested a tire rotation and repair of a brake problem). I realistically expected to have to wait hours to days for the diagnosis and repair. Not so. They rotated my tires and completed the brake job within 3 hours and 10 min of my arrival (that included the time it took to have my vehicle's parts brought to the store). Crazy awesome.
