I decided to replace both front tires. They made no mention of aligning it and 40 minutes later they were going to just send me on my way. I was told the technician saw no issues. When I asked about how bad the alignment was they told me that the alignment was only free with purchase of 4 tires. I insisted they check the alignment, that added several hours. First I was told they would give me the alignment added price and then was told because it took so long they took about $50 off. I also noticed a TPMS charge when I dont have TPMS. They could do it or I could have it done elsewhere. Brought it back for TD to do it. Got a phone call that the original diag. was incorrect and what was required was more $$ but they would honor the estimate I was given. Not necessary to quote prices here but the increase would have been substantial.
Manager Jac said that the initial quote to fix the issue was what I would be charged.

During that time I have used Tire Discounters for many different services and it has always been four or five stars. Yesterday date 4/12 I went there because I had my car system check multiple times somewhere else and was told I had a faulty alternator. I setup an appointment for first thing the next morning. When I arrived they already had the necessary parts delivered and waiting whether I wanted to se new or rebuilt. I had already checked the several internal sites and knew I should be prepared to pay between $1000-1250.
When I arrived at 8am I was met by Logan and we discussed my problems and concerns being retired and on a fixed income. Since I was going to stay until it was finished, he asked if he could run some additional tests to determine the extent of the problem. His normal testing indicated alternator problems but the results were not consistent and he asked me if he could continue to run the car over time and caring loads. I agreed and he continued test. The entire time he kept me posted with updates and information. Through this testing it was determined that the battery (just two years old) was responding erratically and needed replacement. Since it was under warranty they worked with the original supplier to get a new battery at no cost to me or require me to travel to the original supplier to get it replaced. Since I was already there I got an oil change and tire rotation while we waited for the new battery to be delivered. I left with the cost of an oil change versus a new alternator that would not have solved the problem. The level of technical and customer service and honesty I received today was more than a simple 5 star rating. Second. Applied and approved for Discounters tires credit card. They charged to my Discover Card the entire ammount which they knew this. Very unreliable as far as getting the correct tires and dealing with charges. Beware.
Update. I could not change this the same day I uploaded it but, the folks at Tire Discounters fixed the charge error made up for the mistakes. When I got in my car after they were “finished” and I paid, my TPMS light was on. I drove it around hoping it would turn off. Took the car back to the store to have it looked at and was told I’d have to wait and that there were 5-cars ahead of me! I’d already been there close to 3-hours at that point. They then told me I probably hadn’t driven it long enough. So, I drove it the 35-miles home and the light was still on. Took the car the check the tire pressure and 3 of 4 tires were at 26PSI when they should have been at 32PSI. I couldn’t check the 4th tire because someone put the hub cap back on, covering the valve stem and cracked the hub cap!! TPMS light is still on and I can’t access the valve stem on the 4th tire to check the pressure. I assume it’s at 26PSI as well! Very frustrating day!! I was fully expecting to have to buy a new tire. I did not have an appointment, but they quickly got the car in, looked it over and said it could probably be repaired. Awesome! After taking the tire off the rim and inspecting it further, it was found the nail had not gone that deep in the tread and no patching was needed. Monday night I took my truck to Boyd's Tire & Service Center on south Maple street to have work done Tuesday. (The "Maintenance Special" Oil change, Oil filter, top off fluids, 26 point inspection, rotate mounted tires, brake check, check belts and hoses). I picked the truck up Tuesday eve before they closed. I went to work this morning (Wednesday) and someone said my truck tire looked super low. I went out to find the screw was still in one of my tires but it was now on the front of the truck not the back. (They did rotate the tires) I called Boyd's right away. I asked them about it. I was told they don't fix something without advising the customer ahead of time. I bought the tires from them and they are covered under the lifetime warranty. Plus, he could have called me. He actually said to me..." I don't know what you want me to do about it now". Gee. wouldn't you think to offer to help seeing as you screwed it up in the first place?? No. No offer to help, No offer to take care of it.
I had a plan to order my next set of tires from them. (Never again) I will NOT set foot in that place again as long as I live. Such BAD customer service.
I called Tire Discounters on Coleman's Crossing. I spoke to the man on the phone and explained my situation. He said to bring the truck over and they would take a look at it. I drove over there and they were pretty busy. I took the keys into the guys at the counter. Zach pulled the truck in right away and had them start working on it. I was still upset about what the guy said to me at Boyd's. Neil and I talked a bit about customer service. I noticed the truck tires they have on display. Because it is time for new highway tires on the truck I asked about them. Neil is very informative about the products they sell and the services they offer. Neil printed me out a quote and it was cheaper than what the people at Boyds tried to sell me.
Zach pulled the truck out of the bay, came in and told me my truck is done. I looked at the invoice, card in hand, ready to pay for the services rendered and the invoice read $0.00. No charge. I was so overwhelmed with the service already but to add this to it was above and beyond the call. So, Shout out to Neil Hackworth and Zach Reed @ Tire Discounters on Coleman Crossing when you want superior customer service. Have a great one.Rating 5.0March 28, 2017So my Pirelli Cinturato All Season Plus that I bought October 2013 needed to be replaced. Got them at another Tire Discounters, the Hilliard location. I stopped at this place on my way home from Indiana. Now these tires have 70k mile warranty. They only lasted 50k before I began hydroplaning on wet roads. I had to purchase new tires, and didn't want to risk it with snow months on the way. So I asked about the warranty and they said they could file a claim until Monday (I stopped on Friday). It was black Friday and they had a 2 day special going, 100 off Pirellis. So I decided that I would just take advantage of the sale. So I booked an appointment the following day. When I brought it in (I was late) at around 845, they were done in an hour. New tires done in one hour. I was impressed. As I was checking out the guy behind the counter gave me a small discount. I was just speechless. Best service ever. Will come here again.
