With that being said since this was my 2nd bad experience, I shouldn't have been charged for my wasted time on someone with an appt. After telling her about my needs she explained several tire options and said come in tomorrow at noon to see them. I went in picked the tires I wanted, she said give me your keys and 2 hours. 2 hours later I was out the door with 4 new tires and a free alignment. She even thanked me for my military service. Just a week before another national tire chain had balanced my tires and they shimmy so bad at highway speeds it took us forever to get home from vacation. The girl, Jamie Howard, at the front counter was very helpful and knowledgeable of my situation. At my request they balanced my front two tires. I took it for a test drive on interstate right down the road and got it up to 80 mph and had no shimmy. I circled around and told her how good it rode and that I needed another appointment next week. She said she could get me in right then and get the back two tires balanced. Had a good price on balancing. I watched the guy who was taking care of my car. Just walking around acting like he didn't know what he was doing? No one ever said anything to me about my tires or anything. The guy who checked me out acted like he didn't have a clue. Also on my receipt it said 19.99 for tire rotation I thought that was free? But they didn't even rotate them! I saw guy backing car out so I went to tell him that my tires weren't rotated, he said "there ain't enough tread to rotate". The guy that checked me out didn't say a word about nothing! I said I'm supposed to get discount for government employee. Its on there he said. Really? $64.99 for oil change then discount? But none i could see my bill was $77.41? What a mess it was! Great customer service from the lady at the front, to the service department, and the manager Chester was so very nice! Take care and we will see ya again when you need us.Rating 2.0November 26, 2022I called TD and was answered by a customer service attendant in their home office in Cincinnati for 4 tires, alignment, and full brake replacement. I made an appointment a little more than a week in advance for a Saturday (11/5) since I work their entire normal business hours except Saturday and have only one vehicle. Saturday came and I dropped the truck off at 6:00am before they opened and walked home (I live nearby, no problem). The whole day goes by and I never receive any call or update. At 1:30pm I decide to call and am told that my truck is just being worked on and that they were very busy that day, again understandable at least to an extent. They close at 4:00pm, still no other updates. I call back and it goes straight to voicemail. I’m not about to go without a vehicle for the weekend. I get a ride down to TD to find my truck still in the bay, go inside and am told that it will be done shortly. Several other people come and go and I still don’t get any update while Chester is dealing with other customers, he’s by himself so I’m annoyed but I get it, he’s short-handed. What set me off was after 30 minutes of waiting I see my truck pull up next to the door and park like I’m about to be sent on my way, so naturally I stand up and check with Chester who tells me he’s getting to me in a minute. Another 30-45 minutes pass, my truck has been here for 12 hours total and I’ve been in the store for an hour and a half. I am finally called up to discuss payment and review the work done only to find the brakes were not replaced due to miscommunication with the home office and store when I made the appointment (even though the key pouch when I dropped the truck off specifically said to replace all the brakes). I was and still am severely disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience at this store, as I had to replace my brakes myself, sacrificing a nights sleep since I work swing shift. The ONLY reason I didn’t rate 1 star is that Chester was very kind and understanding of how upset and angry I had become and did his best to defuse the situation, which I genuinely appreciated. That and the tires themselves, some Michelin defenders, are great.
TL:DR Only received 2/3 services requested and had to wait 12 hours to get tires replaced and alignment done.
