I called and spoke to Mike, explaining our one dog is not good with people or other animals. Mike and the "crew" got our vehicle in and out quickly, so we could get back on the road. - Rating 2.0April 1, 2017I got a nail in my tire. Took it in, they took it off the rim to look at it. They Said I needed a new tire because they couldn't patch it. I couldn't afford that. I took it to a local shop and they patched it. That's was months ago. No problems. Oh I had to pay extra when I got it repaired because tire discounter a didn't put the tire back into the rim! They have always been very good to check it and send me on my way without any questions. Yesterday I went to my Tire Discounters to buy 4 new tires. It was more great service. No hard sell. Just making sure I was getting what I wanted at the best possible price. All of the folks were very friendly and helpful. When I had some difficulty with the promotional rebate, I sent an email via the contact page. I could not have been more than 2 minutes that my phone was ringing and it was a rep from Tire Discounters explaining what was going on. She explained it to me and assured me that I would get my rebate and how to do it. I needed an oil change, new tires, and a new battery. Both times I went in, they gave me an estimate as to how long it would be before they finished with my car. In both cases, their estimate was not correct. They finished the work much sooner than they estimated they would be finished.
My husband and I go to Tire Discounters for all of our service needs--except I did need a muffler once and they do not do mufflers. My problem began when I asked them to check for leak in front end. When I returned to get car they gave me a quote which was HIGH for Radiator Change, Rack N Pinion and heater for line to go to the back on van. I took to another mechanic who said the only thing needed was radiator and the parts were high when compared to local auto parts store. Thanks!Rating 5.0March 26, 2017Brought in my '85 Toyota Celica GT and was given a great time estimate on how long it would be- all other TD'S were saying 2-3 hour wait and my oil pressure had dropped so it was urgent. Nice well kept, good coffee, they got me in and took care of what I asked- even let me walk around the car while it was on the lift to check for rust. Great overall experience the gentleman who helped me at the counter even asked where I worked to see if I had any break on the price - my advice is to become an established customer with this shop bc they do so well overall I'd say prices are only going to rightfully go up for their service (and I wouldn't flinch to pay it). I assume this shop is franchised and thats why i go to TD's-bc they arent a churned up corporate machine and i appreciate the freedom of guys in the shop to offer genuine service as they see fit - I don't want someone who isn't happy at their job doing something as important as working on my transportation. We're all adults and the control should be with the people involved face to face in such an important task and I believe TD understands that.
