I needed help with my tires immediately and with a short window of opportunity to have them installed. On top of that I wanted a certain tire that wasn’t in stock.

Wow what a big mistake. This Tire Discounters is not just bad, but they will put you and your family's life in danger. Please if you have to use Tire Discounters go to a different location ,the guys in Florence Ky. area seem to have their stuff together. Just a few examples are they left one of my lug bolts out, told me one of my tires was bad from the Bridgestone factory but to still run it and we would address it later if it failed, when they beaded up one of the tires they left a piece of some kind of sticker in the bead area, so it went flat while my wife was driving home 4 miles away. The alignment was so bad you could let go of the wheel and it would cross all three lanes on I-75. I usually don't do reviews but this place is just dangerous. Headed to Lake Norris for a family reunion, our boat trailer lost an entire wheel from our double axle trailer. We limped into the Dry Ridge location and while TD didn’t sell the boat trailer parts we needed, Joe assessed our needs and explained where we could go to get the parts so he could perform the repairs.
After driving all over the get the necessary parts, Joe was able to get us back on the road. Most shops would have turned us away, given they did not have the parts necessary to make the needed repairs.
Upon returning, he recommended a complete trailer review which he completed quickly and then since we no longer had the borrowed truck Joe offered to deliver the trailer to our home upon completion of his shift that day.

We drove to 3 other tire service locations, either they didn’t have the tires we needed or they did not want to do the service. We finally went to Tire Discounters, and they didn’t hesitate to help us! They went out of their way to attempt to repair our tires, and when that wasn’t possible, they replaced them! I was told to show up at 1pm for an alignment. I get there and they tell me to is going to be an hour and a half wait, even though I was told to be there at 1pm. So I waited in my car since the 4 chairs they have for us to wait in was full (oil changes). So at 230pm I walked in and asked about the time frame and was told parts for other vehicles did not show up, so my alignment was not getting done any time soon. They never came to my car to let me know this, they just let me sit in my car and I had to go in and ask. Poor customer service. Also who puts job like that on an alignment rack? Put them on a post lift that way if that happens you can still do alignments. Having said that, the Dry Ridge location in the exception. This will probably go un-noticed due to all the good reviews, but I feel I need to express my dissatisfaction. Please take the time to read this if you don't want to be misled. I have been a Tire Discounters customer for many years(Hebron Ky). Only this location(Dry Ridge) for the last 2 years. I called about having my leaky tire fixed, and was told only one car was there and it wouldn't take very long. I arrived a few minutes later (2 pm) to drop off my truck. I showed the attendant the hole where the air was leaking from and asked that the tires be rotated and balanced. She said it would only be an hour. First let me explain, I am aware things can go bad and problems can arise causing it to take longer. So I expect this and left the truck there. After 2 hours (4:00) I called to check the status and was told they would be starting it next. That was fine. At 5pm I had not got a call but felt it would be soon and drove up to the shop. As I arrived in the parking lot, I could see my truck on the rack. I then got a call from the manager James. He let me know the flat was fixed but that rotation would not help since the tires were about worn out. I'm a mechanic myself so I understood what he was saying. I then asked about the balancing, he said that had been done. They were still working on it so we left for a few minutes and returned at 5:30. They had just completed the work, 3 1/2 hrs later, so I got my keys. Was not given any work order, which I thought was unusual. I went home and when I got out of the truck I could hear air leaking from the tire they had just "repaired". I looked to see where it was coming from, and it was the same hole I pointed out to the attendant. I called the store after they closed(6:05). James answered and I told him the problem, he told me it was leaking from the bead. I air my own tires and this tire has not lost air since its been installed over 4 years ago. I knew they removed it from the rim because it had been rotated from its previous position on the rim. I inspected the remaining tires and found they had not been balanced. He argued with me that he saw it leaking from the bead and they weren't told it was a hole in the tread. He said they checked it with leak detecter and only saw the bead leaking! It didn't need leak detector, it was obvious from the hole and sound of air coming from the hole; this should have given them their first clue. Not to mention, I pointed out the hole to the attendant. The bead leak was after they removed it, if they weren't told about the tread leak, why would they take it off the rim? I understand mistakes can happen, but there is no excuse for dishonesty. This isn't the first problem I've had with James. He's misled me before with my other car. I gave the benefit of the doubt, and was proven wrong, I can't trust this location.
