    We had a highway blowout on our RV trailer while travelling. We called Camping World, and they didn't even have anyone who could talk to us as service was closed on Sunday. We called Thompson Tire on Monday and were able to speak to Jay. He was very knowledgeable, especially considering the specialty tires needed for an RV trailer. We were able to order 5 tires, which arrived the next day. They replaced the spare, and shop tech Travis installed the new tires - in the pouring rain. He was efficient, checking and double checking the pressure and making sure everything was just right. Cannot say enough about the knowledge, customer service, efficiency, and integrity of this shop. If we lived nearby, we'd be customers for life.

    i have always liked thompson tires.and have had inspections done there for years. i went in at 7am and waited for store to open at 730 at least 1 car came in for auto inspection after me but this person got out of car and stood by door to get in. i guess i should have done that to because this person and another person who came after me was served over me i was told wait time 1030 or later. i have never waited this long. i just wish the other guy who worked at the store was still there . so i said to them give me my keys and left with no service sad

    If you want your truck romped around and beat on for no reason, when it’s not even there for a performance issue. Then sure deal with the poor customer service and long wait times that’s fine.

    I have been a customer of Thompson Tire Discounters in Christiansburg since 2000. I was absent for a short time due to other obligations. I have always loved the family atmosphere. here. I returned yesterday to purchase new tires. Mr. J. Noble, manager, assisted me with the purchase. He was extremely thorough in explaining everything to me and showed just how much he really cared about the customer. He is awesome! Highly recommended for great service!

    Went in for a inspection,they found issues with ball joints. The lady over mechanics came and got me to show me the issues, which I liked. I had put wheel spacers on my rims and I had a o ring put on backwards which could have been dangerous. Again I appreciate them showing and explaining everything to me.They go over vehicle with a fine tooth comb, and are a little pricey, but I would definitely recommend them. All the people I encountered there were really nice.

    Took my daughter's car in for a flat tire and the service was fantastic. The GM Ryan was exceptional. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The service was quick and they made sure I had road hazard coverage to protect her new tires in the future.

    I went in for a simple oil change. They informed me that they were under new ownership as of July this year. I was disappointed since I was back because I got such good service from them in the past. I waited for an hour before they started on the oil change and only after I inquired about the time, I had an appointment. After awhile they told me my battery was bad and I needed to have them install a new one. The battery was new that year. I went to Advance Auto where I bought it and it tested out fine. Plus their quote on new tires all around was twice as expensive as the set of old tires were that I got last time from somewhere else. Plus the oil change was very expensive compared to last time somewhere else. I'm sure they tried to scam me about the battery. I won't be back.

    Outstanding customer service. I had ordered some tires and when I showed up for my appointment I had ordered the wrong size. Ryan worked with me and assisted me to get another set that better met my needs. He listened carefully to what I wanted and matched my needs perfectly.     We were on our way back to Florida when a belt separated in one of our tires. You never know when you're on the road where to go but we hit the jackpot!!! Angel, Seth and J went out of their ways to get us back on the road. Angel even went and picked up the tire we needed from another city. We could not have asked for a more accommodating place to stop. Great people, great prices!
