- Rating 5.0November 6, 2024I purchased four tires for my Volvo Tuesday morning, complete with balancing and a 4-wheel alignment. I drove less than 3 miles away when my tire pressure sensor lit up, indicating a low tire pressure in the right front and necessitating my return to have it checked. The tech reset the tire pressure monitoring system but neglected to check the tire pressure itself. Again I got 2-3 miles away and had to return yet a second time, and was frankly just a bit irritated. But Eva B., the service writer, had me pull my car to an open bay and she personally checked all four tires, ALL of which were not inflated to the Volvo specs. She aired all four tires, apologized profusely, and I reset the TPMS myself, this time with no issues. Eva B. went well above and beyond her job description to make certain my car's tires were inflated as they should be. She is to be commended. In retrospect, I know that anyone can make a mistake. However, the tech should have checked the inflation pressure specs on the inside of the car door, inflated the tires to that 35 psi, and there would have been no issue. Drove my truck into a curb and completely ruined my $500 dollar wheel and I told them to replace the wheel and they said they ordered the wheel and it would take 10 business days to get there. And now here it is little over a month later and I still have a ruined wheel and I had to take my truck back twice to get the alignment done correctly and now the steering wheel still isn’t straight. On my last visit a little over a month ago I had my free lifetime rotation done. I was told that my brakes were in the red and that the rotors could not be turned. They gave me a printed estimate of over $400 for this to be done. I decided to get a second opinion since I had an issue with being told that my brakes were needed to be replaced in the past to find out that they were not. I proceeded to have my brakes replaced that was confirmed at one of their competitors and was told that the rotors were able to be turned with no problem. My total amount was $203. However, this isn’t the first time it’s happened when I bring it in for the free lifetime rotation that is included when you purchase tires here. I was told a few weeks ago that my front brakes were in the red and was needing to be replaced. I was also told that the rotors could not be turned and would also need to be replaced at a total cost of over $400 for new brakes and rotors.
I did have a second opinion done and was told that my brakes did in fact need to be replaced, and that the rotors were able to be turned with no problem. The total cost was $203.
I had a similar issue here over a year ago and was told that I needed front brakes when I got a second opinion it wasn’t even close to needing to be replaced.

I called to set up appointment and for more information and the man said he was too busy to talk. Put me on hold for 10 minutes never came back. I called back hours later a couple of times he put me on hold and never came back!! I’m looking elsewhere now. He was very rude.
