- Rating 5.0December 7, 2024I have been going to various tire discounters locations for the last 15 years and have always had a good experience and no complaints.
The springboro location recently did quite a bit of work on my truck (new tires, alignment, replaced my broken active grill shutters, spark plugs, front and rear differential fluid, transmission flush, coolant flush, brake fluid change, shocks and struts, brakes and rotors) it now runs good as new. I had a slight problem after the initial repairs were performed, after explaining the issue with the misfires they were able to look at my truck immediately despite being very busy. I was concerned about having to spend a lot of money chasing a problem, luckily I wasn’t charged anything for the extra labor and the work was performed under warranty. Kelly, Mike, and the mechanic (can’t remember his name) were able to get my truck running perfectly. My wife stopped after work last evening as she had her low tire pressure indicator come on. Mind you these are new tires purchased from Tire Discounters 1,200 miles ago. The person that she spoke with told her they didn’t have time to look at it and put air in it and told her if it was low in the morning to come back not even looking at the tire. This morning it was at 11 pounds and she was unable to drive it to work. After adding air to it I took it to Tire Discounters in Vandalia and was promptly waited on, the tire checked and a screw was found in it with moments. This is how customer service is supposed to work. Kudos to your staff in Vandalia. The tires had road hazard so everything was taken care of. And before it is mentioned you were busy, it was at 4:45 last evening. As a business, you want to take care of repeat customers so they return, we have bought multiple sets of tires and had oil changes done for many years there. Whether the management has changed or it was just a bad day, she will not return to the Springboro store.
