Was told they needed a deposit before they could order my tires. Funny, I never received a call or a text. I said that I never had to do that before, and was told “Well, we’re not Huddles anymore”. - Rating 1.0June 12, 2023I received an email reminding me that it was time to rotate my tires. In the past when we have attempted to make an appt to have our tires rotated, we were told that they don’t make appts for tire rotations you simply just need to stop by to see if they have time. So I was dropping off my car for tire rotation and usually you wait by the service area to drop your keys off. A gentleman asked me if I needed help, I showed him my tire rotation history envelope and said I was dropping off my car for a rotation. My husband was outside to pick me up, I wasn’t in any hurry at all. As he was explaining that their tire technician wasn’t in that day another employee interrupted to ask if I had an appt……. I replied that I never needed one before but I’d be glad to make one. He made an appt for Saturday morning at 11. I arranged my whole schedule for Saturday morning and headed out…I did not have a ride on Saturday so i had planned to hang around the area. When I approached the desk and gave my name he quickly scanned for me, started pulling his beard and said, man, I hate to tell you this but SHE overbooked me this morning and I don’t have room for you…….
I said, No, I came in the other day, didn’t have an appt, you said I needed an appt, so I made one with you, and now, because Im here for a FREE tire rotation you don’t have room for me………
Prior to this experience I have always been treated great by the gentleman that ran the service area. I realize things and policies change and apparently companies get bought out by other companies but it is no excuse for the way things were handled that day. I’m pretty sure if I was there for a paid service they would have fit me in. In the end he put his hand out and said, fine, as if to take my keys and rotation information……I turned and walked away as he replied, oh, ok, fine, as if I was in the wrong.

Today with my regular oil change and tire rotation, they are telling me I need front brakes and rotars asap, why wasn't that discovered the first 3 trips in there. The very first trip was an oil change and tire rotations when they told me I needed back brakes. I don't like to feel like I am being taken advantage.
