I recently picked up a metal shard that caused a flat and managed to make it back to tire discounters and they fixed the tire then told me there was no charge. It is a fraud store. The break light appeared on my dashboard. I went to this store to fix it. The store manager told me My tires are too old, and he said it is dangerous to drive if I do not change them. I asked him how much to change the tire, he showed me the tire price. He never told me he will charge me $139.96 installation fee to install the tire. I won't replace my tires there since Walmart and Costco offer free tire installation if I bought tire from them. I told the manager my car is more than ten years old I do not want to spend more than $3000 on it since it is only worth about $3000. I won't spent more than $1000 to replace if I do not know the overall condition of it. I asked him to check the engine, transmission and other parts of my car so I can decide if I should replace the tire or not. Later he called me said he found the break and control arm of my car are bad. I ask him about engine, transmission and other parts of my car. He told me everything is good. He told me It costs me about $3000 to fix everything. 9/12/2024 I spent $3160 there to fix my old car. 9/13/2024 my tire sensors are bad. I came back to that store. That manager told me he saw my sensor were bad in 9/12/2024. I ask him why you did not tell me that day when I ask you if there is another problem on my car. First, he told he thought it is a small problem, and he does want me to spend more money to fix it. Later he told me he forgets to tell me. I know he lied to me because I am the only one driver of that car and 9/7/2024 the sensor reminded me the tire pressure is low. I argue with him about it. Finally, another manager agreed to fix it for free in 9/14/2024. I am so worried about they will damage the other parts of my car while they fix the sensor. But I cannot monitor it to fix my car since I have my son with me that day. In 9/15/2024 morning I found out the turning wheel is hard to turn when I made a big turn. I wait about two weeks to fix it because I am very busy. In 10/3/2024 I went to another car repair store. The mechanic told me my turning fluid is low. He didn't see the leaking sign. He added some turning fluid to my car. One week later they find out the MasterPro Power Steering Reman Rack and Pinion are bad. It costed me another $1400 to fix it. I ask the tire discounters to check the overall of my car on 9/12/2024. The fellow there looked at it and saw that I had a little leak from a screw or something and he plugged it for me. But then he went on to check all the other tires and said let’s just look at your fluids. If you’re gonna take a trip you gotta be safe. Just a nice gentleman. I think he was from the military. anyway, the cost was nothing compared to what I thought it might be, and I felt like my friends were looking out for me being on the road by myself and all. There’s another place in town and I almost went there because tire discounters always got tons of cars in front but I pulled up and I told him what was going on and they said give me one minute and we’ll get you taken care of. There was a big dude at the counter. somebody called him big daddy or something like that and he just made me feel extra special.
