But in the span of the last two years, we’ve had three flat tires. Chris even helped navigate our coverage out of state in Florida in my daughter, was stuck in the out of state & the coverage was questionable for a minute having to deal with the service state where there are no tire discounters, and the national service was being a little difficult. After catching a flat and calling to be compensated for the tow, I was insured that a tow truck driver would be coming to get my car and take it to the store on Newtown pike. My car was not even 3 miles away from the store but the tow truck driver that Sarah called for me cost me 175$ and she told me that it would be repayed. After waiting nearly 3 months for the repayment , the check was only 125$. I went back to this location of because I had visited last year and was very pleased. After removing the tires, it was discovered that the squeaking and squealing I’ve been hearing prior to the blowout was from the rear brakes. Tony Caruso, the service manager at this location, was extremely patient and explained everything to me. I put my faith in him and he did not disappoint! This location was very clean, everyone there was extremely friendly, and I was quite comfortable in the waiting area. I’m so grateful to Tony for his kindness, patience and expertise. We will see you again when you need us!Rating 1.0December 4, 2024ZERO STARS! Long time Tire Discounter customer, but I will never use their services again! My son had his car towed there because it was jerking and wouldn't accelerate over 5mph. We later received a phone call from the technician and he stated there were diagnostic codes for evaporation from the gas cap, rear calipers brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and this was the cause for not being able to accelerate. We called back for more clarification from the technician, he went on to say that the $25 gas cap may or may not fix the acceleration issue, but the worn calipers, rotors and brakes is what's causing the car to stall and not accelerate properly. We declined the $25 gas cap replacement and agreed to the caliper, rotors and brakes.
The next day my son gets a call that his car is ready, pays $844 and cannot even drive out of the parking lot. He goes back inside Tire Discounters and is then told it's a transmission issue that they cannot fix. The transmission issue/diagnosis should've been mentioned way before there was any mention of replacing calipers, brake and rotors! No one in their right mind would pay for calipers, brakes and rotors if their car has transmission problems. No one ever mentioned a potential transmission problem!
So we have now paid $844 for a car that still will not drive.
Tire Discounters took advantage of a young kid trying to get his car fixed and swindled us out of $844 knowing that they don't do transmission work.
The manager Logan danced around this when I called and kept saying "well he needed new calipers, rotors and brakes anyway." The manager offered to have the car towed to a transmission shop, but that's it...no apology, no refund, nothing but wasted time and money.
This place is not to be trusted!

Without a huge amount of money, we found ourselves stuck in Lexington with two blown tie rods. We luckily had a very helpful tow truck driver who drove us immediately to Tire Discounters. The staff there was very quick and efficient in diagnosing and getting our vehicle repaired and getting us back on the road home! Georgetown store said they couldn't do the alignment because I had a handicap van with a lowered floor so They sent me to the Psris, Ky store. The guy there said they could do it at the other store and if I wanted them to do I would have to come back 5 hrs. later. I said that wasn't an option. After further discussion with the manager and phone calls to Georgetown store, he decided to do it then. They had one other car getting service at that time.
