I didn’t bother calling the store because I would’ve just been told that it was already there, but I take meticulous care of my vehicle and I am positive it didn’t happen on its own. Short, Sweet, and Simple. Thanks for the review!Rating 1.0January 21, 2024I had all four 20 inch alloy polished wheels for my pickup balanced Thursday 1/18/24. On Sunday 1/21/24 I noticed that they scratched all four wheels where the locking ring would have secured the wheel to the machine.
I went to the shop on Monday 1/22 and spoke to Chad the Manager to show him what was done. I advised him that I polished out a lot of the marks, but there are still several scratches that will not come out.
In addition, every lug nut has a circular, scratch, right in the middle of the lug nut. It appears as though they were driven on with an impact and not properly torqued. They should have been snugged, and then torqued with a handheld torque wrench.
I told the Manager I had purchased a replacement set of factory lug nuts that I had found for a very reasonable price. All he offered to do was reimburse me for what I paid to have the tires balanced.
So I am left with scratched wheels and the cost of replacement lug nuts that Tire Discounters should be responsible for. Needless to say I am not very happy.
I got a message back that I would be contacted by a regional manager within 48 to 72 hours. That did not happen.

Finally contacted by a Manager responsible for damage claims who advised they will not reimburse me, or take any responsibility for the scratches on the lug nuts or the wheels.from their faulty work. At 0900 I went in to find out when I would receive service. I was told there were four other other customers at 0800 ahead of me. I waited another 30 minutes. A very personable mechanic came out to work on the tire that had a nail in it. I asked about a Military Discount. He asked if I was a veteran. I said yes. He went back in and then I went into the office to find out how much longer the repair would take. The "Street level Bureaucrat" asked me how long I had served and my rank. All four tires were replaced. When I went back to my car, the mechanic came out and thanked me for my service again and then he said that he would no longer be working at this company. The "Street - level Bureaucrat" at the desk fired him. I was horrified. I am a life member of American Legion, DAV, and MOAA. This was blatant gender and age discrimination. They get your car fixed in a timely manner. I got 4 new tires for my car and had some other work done on it it was over 1,000 dollar's. I get the bill and it had a charge on it for a Shop Supply Fee of 39.99 so I called and ask what that fee was for. They said it was for tools they have to use for your Alignment. So they say your Alignment is free if you buy 4 tire's. But they neglect to tell you that they will charge you for use of their tools it takes to do the " free" Alignment. The staff is always very courteous and work the hardest to take care of our vehicles. I feel that they charge us fairly and do not try to get us to buy something that we don't need. My mom got a flat tire once and the store did not have the replacement in stock. Tessa volunteered to pick one up at another location in the morning on her way to work, so that the tire could be replaced first thing in the morning. Excellent customer service.
