Recently, however, the customer service has just tanked. I brought my car in a few months ago because I needed a new tire. I have gone through 4 sets of tires in the last 6 years on this car, which is just not acceptable. I was told during this visit that I needed all new tires AGAIN because my shocks and struts were bad and that was causing ware and tear on my tires. I got the tires and they gave me a coupon for a free oil change. I attempted to scheduled the struts/shocks SEVERAL times online and NOONE called me. I finally called and scheduled the appointment for about 3 weeks out. They had no weekend availability (I work Mon-Fri) at all because their technician works Mon-Fri. While that's inconvenient, its understandable. During this phone call I explained that I wanted to get my oil change done as well. I had the coupon and I wanted to use it before it expired, even if it was earlier then when it was due. (I usually go to Valvoline for this so they had no idea it was early). I got my struts/shocks and the manager informed me the quote was wrong and should have been much higher. To his credit (according to him), he did not charge me all of the additional work but it was higher then the quoted amount. I mentioned to him that I did not have the coupon for the oil change and he told me that it was fine. I was trying to figure out when my car was due again, and reviewed the invoice from the previous visit to check the mileage. There was nothing on that invoice indicating the oil was changed. I called them and they confirmed this over the phone. I was explained to him that my car was well over the mileage and he was nice about it but really didn't offer any assistance. He told me to check to see if I still had the coupon and to see if it was expired or not...... I called today to schedule this and once again they have ZERO weekend availability.. I explained my situation to the women who could clearly care less because her next availability wasn't until Wednesday...I called Florence and they got me in on Saturday.
If you check my google reviews, you will see that I have rated them highly in the past..... Please come back again and see us when you need us! - Rating 1.0July 15, 2024I drove to Tire Discounter Hebron at 2pm 07/15/24 and spoke with Chad regarding having them mount new tires and TPMS sensors onto new wheels purchased by me. Afterwards, I asked if they had Hunter wheel alignment equipment, which he replied yes. I proceeded to ask him if they would align new tires to Westcott Design specs versus OEM since the truck is lifted. He replied he just spoke to someone there today and said it would not be a problem and took a picture of the specs on my phone. I even asked him if TD could at least mount and balance tires and I would bring truck back another day for alignment if they couldn’t do it all today. Chad stated he could have it all done today, although it would be late. I agreed and left for 2hours. I returned at 4pm and Chad stated again, they would be done later. I had no problem waiting as I didn't have anything going on at the time. I never once asked or inquired how things were going as I was told it would be later. At approximately 625pm, Chelsie came to me and told me she just couldn’t get the tires mounted and balanced but the alignment was already done. Huh?? I asked how they could do an alignment with the old tires when I am replacing stock tires with 35x12.5r18 AT. I was told it didn't matter. I then asked if the specs were used that I gave Chad which he took a photo of. Chelsie responded she was unaware of any specs I gave and performed alignment to OEM specs. Chelsie was very apologetic and offered for me to leave tires, wheels, and already programmed TPMS sensors there and I wouldn’t be charged for mounting and balancing of tires. I was advised then to take my truck to the TD off of Route 18 and ask for Steve to do alignment since he is more experienced when it comes to specific specs like this. Bottom line, I wasted 5 hours of my time and now need to go back and get tires mounted tomorrow and drive to another facility to have alignment done. I made it very clear from the start, I am very particular as to what I was asking for and to make sure lug nut specs are 85-95 lb ft of torque and not just blasted on there as well as making sure everything was done accordingly. I was told that wasn’t a problem. I have never experienced this big of a problem from TD and so many of the Tundra Forums actually praise how well TD handles their customers. This is completely unsatisfactory as I was very transparent in asking specifically what I wanted up front. Short, Sweet, and Simple. Thanks for the review!Rating 1.0January 21, 2024I had all four 20 inch alloy polished wheels for my pickup balanced Thursday 1/18/24. On Sunday 1/21/24 I noticed that they scratched all four wheels where the locking ring would have secured the wheel to the machine.
I went to the shop on Monday 1/22 and spoke to Chad the Manager to show him what was done. I advised him that I polished out a lot of the marks, but there are still several scratches that will not come out.
In addition, every lug nut has a circular, scratch, right in the middle of the lug nut. It appears as though they were driven on with an impact and not properly torqued. They should have been snugged, and then torqued with a handheld torque wrench.
I told the Manager I had purchased a replacement set of factory lug nuts that I had found for a very reasonable price. All he offered to do was reimburse me for what I paid to have the tires balanced.
So I am left with scratched wheels and the cost of replacement lug nuts that Tire Discounters should be responsible for. Needless to say I am not very happy.
I got a message back that I would be contacted by a regional manager within 48 to 72 hours. That did not happen.

Finally contacted by a Manager responsible for damage claims who advised they will not reimburse me, or take any responsibility for the scratches on the lug nuts or the wheels.from their faulty work. Tessa volunteered to pick one up at another location in the morning on her way to work, so that the tire could be replaced first thing in the morning. Excellent customer service.
