- Rating 2.0March 21, 2024First the good news. Their service technicians have done a good job always. The bad news - the guys in front have an attitude (my opinion). The last time I had my car in, I asked them to rotate the tires - I bought them there. When I picked up the car I asked if they rotated the tires. He said yes. When I got home I checked and they hadn’t. Rotation was not on the bill either as it always was, even though it is free. I had to replace one tire shortly after I bought them. It has slightly different markings as it is the new model. I checked where it was before I took the car in and it was still on the right front. Of course when I went back the same guy doubled down and said they had done the rotation. When I explained how I knew they hadn’t he just said he would give me a free balance of the tires. The manager was standing there listening and never said a word then or when I brought the car back for the rotation. I was just about ready to buy a new set of Michelins for my other car but they have lost my business now. Take care and we will see ya again when you need us.Rating 1.0January 30, 2024I bought a set of tirs there for my 2017 accord , they sell the fee rotation pitch when buying tires but very hard for them to do that service , I walked in and they told me best to leave vehicle with them it will take about 1hr and a half to get to or make a appointment and we are booking about a week out so I did , came Back the next week said they have my appointment and still about a 1hr and a half wait till they can get to it ( big waste of my time )

He had made me a future appointment for extensive replacement/repairs (all 4 tires/all 4 brakes) and set me up for AFTER next paycheck check cleared without any rush/pressure. Unfortunately, the DAY before, my car was completelty totaled :-(( When I called Steve to explain why I would not make appointment, he asked how insurance treated me/how my kids were/we talked of prior experiences.

I attempted to pay with 3 separate cards. Card 1 had $100, card 2 had $100, card 3 has the remaining $400 on it. I could pay using all 3 forms of payment. The point of sale person put in the amounts and had me use each card per each amount. Turns out the cashier person accidentally charged the wrong amount to one card. No big deal right? Wrong! Once one card was taken, that same card could not be taken again on this same checkout ticket. Corporate has to cancel or allow that same card to be taken twice. No big deal again right? Wrong. It's Saturday and nothing can be done till Monday. Now I can't get to work on Monday. No call from the store today, I had to call to get the information that I was able to come in today to finish the transaction. Do they even want my money?! When I asked if I could have $100 off the total price since I missed work because they couldn't take a card twice, I was no and that there was no argument here from the Store Manager Steve. He says that it's not his problem that I didn't have other funds to use.
So my advice as a consumer is, this place will take good care of you if you have the actual cash, but if they mess up a card payment, it's somehow the customers fault. I've only been a customer here once and it was terrible. If I even use tire discounters again, it will certainly be ANY other store.Tire DiscountersAugust 8, 2023That doesn't sound right. It didn't look repairable, so Kenny gave me a printout for a tire equivalent to the others. Next day, came by for the replacement, which went smoothly & quickly. They were able to diagnose and fix my tire quickly, but also helped to check and oil leak which was the result of an oil change I'd had the week prior at the dealership. Kenny and the crew put my car up and pointed out the issue, and let me know what was wrong and how to describe it to the dealer. They were all very reassuring and got my tire patched as quickly as possible so that I could get my car back to the dealer to be fixed. They even checked the oil level once my car was back down to make sure it wasn't almost empty. I'm really grateful for their help and extra assistance on a day when I was already really stressed. I just bought my car and knew something was off with the tires. The technician Joe listened to me when I said something was wrong, test drove my car and pulled it up to see. He found the bushings on both side front were bad. He showed me and allowed me to take a video to show the car dealership. I was in and out with the diagnosis in less than 20 mins.
