They charged me for work they did not do. When I brought my vehicle back the kid working thought it was really funny they did do the work I was charged for. So if I are new customer don't go to the discounters in amelia they will over charge you and not do the work. If they get caught they think its funny and just laugh at you. - Rating 1.0August 18, 2023Got the job done, but at a high cost. I spoke to the manager who did explain the process. But the problem is that parts are being upcharged by 100%!! I expect a labor charge but not a part at double the cost. The manager explained that this is set by Corporate. I hope Corporate reads this because they are going to cause these shops to lose business because of Corporate greed. The manager at the store though was very understanding and offered other services to build value. Take care and we will see ya again when you need us.Rating 1.0July 20, 2023Went in on Monday this week (July 2023). Asked for new tires and I had a sound I believed was my muffler. Robert explained I was close to needing tires but did not have to replace right now. I explained I wanted to go ahead and replace them now. He told me the muffler depended on what was needed they did not do welding. I questioned because I wanted to get everything done in one place. They would check it out and let me know if they could. We agreed on tires and I was told they would let me know about the muffler and cost after they inspected the muffler.
This was early in the day before 10- am I believe. Around noon Robert called me and told me the only thing wrong with the muffler was a "loose clamp and they tightened it no charge it was fixed." He went on to tell me my brakes front and back needed replaced. I agreed and asked how long he stated about two hours.
Four hours later I called and questioned how much longer as I had things I needed to do. Robert hemmed and hauled and said it was up and they were working on it.
An hour later I called and explained I had to have my car. What was the hold up. My dog was in the kennel and I had only until 6 pm to pick him up. (Note four hours after the time I was told my car would be ready.)
I paid for the car over $2,000 all what I agreed to no surprise charges.
I went outside to the bay to wait on the car. When the attendant pulled my car out it was still making the muffler noise. I went in to question. I was told they do not do welding. I said I was told that but Robert lied to me and told me it was fixed it was just a loose clamp. So he not only lied about the muffler but how long the car would take.

Was told vehicle needed ball joints and stabilizer cylinder. Approved. Then told without tire replacement the A,R, and B could not be done. Paid 1600$ and took truck back. Undriveable at this point. Took to another shop and found ball joints removed were not bad but were also lifetime replacement parts. TD didn’t notice or didn’t care. Driveability issue was failure to reset bearing on assembly. Tires did not need replacement. Had vowed to never buy tires there after Eastgate substituted tires on another vehicle due to inventory issues-never resolved but TD threatened litagation on negative feed back.
