    Went to get my tire plugged as it was losing air, they found a small nail, fixed it. I left happy, then a week and a half later it’s losing air again so I stop to put air in the tire and that’s when I noticed the valve cover is missing and my wheel is scratched. This had to have happened there as I washed the car the day before I took it and there were bo scratches-this is a new car. I will be calling tomorrow to complain.

    If I could give 0 stars, I would!! I initially contacted your shop because my check engine light was on, and I had already visited AutoZone, where they diagnosed the issue for FREE. However, I was informed by your staff that I would need to pay $70 for a diagnostic test to determine the problem.

    After receiving your diagnostic results, I was quoted approximately $1,000 for repairs, which seemed excessive compared to the quote I received from another shop for $150.

    When I went to pay for the diagnosis, the cost was unexpectedly $90, not the $70 that I was initially quoted. This was frustrating, as I had been led to believe I would only pay $70, and it seemed that the additional $20 was neither explained nor justified.

    In comparison, AutoZone and another shop offered free diagnostic tests, and their repair quotes were significantly lower. This leads me to feel that your business might be overcharging for diagnostic services and repairs.

    While I understand that repair costs can vary, I feel that your pricing is not transparent and unfair. I hope you take this feedback seriously and work to ensure that future customers are better informed about your pricing and services.

    Very dissatisfied. I told them I thought the right rear brake caliper was bad. They drove it, called me and said everything was good. Then I told them that it had been hot and smelled hot. They rechecked and sure enough the rotor and caliper needed replacing, but the price they quoted me was twice what I paid for front brakes earlier this year at another shop. I told them to put it back together, and they charged me $50 for the evaluation

    I would give them a zero stars if I could they said my turbo lines were bad on my car. And turns out it was a cracked coolant reservoir.I don't recommend taking your vehicle to this shop.This was a disaster trying to get my car fixed and they called themselves mechanicas. And on top of that charged me $48 for nothing.

    Service takes twice as long for half the quality that once was. Had oil changed twice now and had oil leak afterwards. Found out they just didn’t bother to check everything and tighten all plugs. Also daughter had oil change and they brought her cabin filter in and told her it needed replacing, she told them that her dad would take care of it. Two days later she went to open her glove box and the door fell off were they didn’t reinstall it correctly. I am finally done with tire discounters, they need to remove Taylor’s name because it not the same place. Also will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use them.

    Straight trash! Got a quote for $868 for 4 new tires installed, balanced, and alignment. Was asked by a staff member to come check rear brakes, not quoted a price by anyone, and told the guy to go ahead and replace since the wheels were already off. Went to pay and was charged al.ost $300 additional due to brakes and when I questioned the amount the guy at front desk said he would "throw in" lifetime warranty on tires. After I paid noticed invoice had charge for tire protection as well. If I would've known they were going to cost that much I wouldn't have driven 45 minutes for the deal they offered. STAY AWAY from this place if possible. Their deals are not that great and I'd rather pay a little more for honesty and reliability.

    I give this place 0 stars because they messed up my oil change and in doing so have destroyed my trucks engine! I can not seem to get anyone to help me with this matter but I know for a fact that my truck was running fine until they did the oil change!!!! I have tried getting in touch with their insurance company but travelers claims they do not insure them. I'm not even sure where to go from here except to court.

    My sister sold me her car back in december of 2023. She decided to go to Tire Discounters on cone in greensboro to have it done. So I bought the car from her and she gave me the paperwork showing the 4 new tires that were purchased.
    So I took my car to them in May of 2024 to rotate the tires which was a part of the service with purchasing 4 new tires. So they said they would do the rotation but they will not honor the new tires warranty because it was in my sisters name instead of mine. So I explained that I bought the car from my sister 2 days after she had tires put on and she gave me all original paperwork and asked if they would honor the warranty on the car and they stated "no". So I was very upset about this because they did not honor the tires they put on their cars. I told the guy that I did see the online info that stated this could be transferrable and he denied it. So now I am out of my tire warranty!

    I have been going to Taylor’s Tires for years with no problems but since the rebranding the business is not the same as before. I came for my yearly inspection where my tires needed replacing and window tint failed (normal I typically just pay the fee). I told the guy that I was going to get new tires and pay the tint fee when I returned and he said ok and that it would be $6 when I got back. I returned with my new tires and was told they were not going pass my car because of the window tint regardless if they have passed it previously before. Instead of stealing peoples money they need to honest with their customers in the practices that have changed since the buyout. I highly recommend finding another company to do business with.

    I have been bringing business personally as well as recommending others to Taylor's Discount Tire & Automotive , but I will definitely take my business somewhere else moving forward. Went in today (6/29/24) to get a tire rotation for tires I purchased with them. They told me they couldn’t do it today because it is like a 2 hour wait and they close at noon. So you are telling me I come in during your open business hours, I’m willing to wait, & because you close at noon you won’t do the work??? Then you should have it posted you are not taking anyone past a certain time. I live in High Point and drove all the way there just for them to tell me to come back on Monday and when I went back to ask if they had any suggestions as to where I could get it done today, they point me in the direction of the business next to them, NTB. With having four vehicles, Taylor’s Discount Tire & Automotive will no longer be servicing anything more for me. I certainly hope they reevaluate their business model and decide if they are going to be open for business during business hours or not. Now I’m looking for recommendations of a place that I can take my business to for all things tire related in the Triad area.

    This post goes back about a yr. Prior to this last experience I had nothing but HIGH PRAISE for T tires! But something changed the way they do business or should I say "NO LONGER". Simply put they tried to RIP ME OFF( I know lots about cars) & a simple LOOSE suspension NUT would have turned into a $1200 estimate. They visually showed me it, said I needed all new parts(worn out) on drivers side, at the time I agreed/setup appt./before I left asked" aren't you going to tighten it up", answer= won't make a difference.
    Well, that's all I did when I went home & it's been OK ever since(over a yr or two now). Reason they didn't tighten it was it would fix the problem & THEY knew it!
    Returned that week to complain to the new manager....long story short, didn't believe his answers either. Never gone back & never will. So all of you who go there, THINK TWICE after reading this.

    New ownership is terrible been going there since I first got my truck. My very first oil change came from the old Taylor’s company. They refused to mount my tires wanted 34.00 a tire I do believe 140+ for 4 22 inch rims used to be a little over 80 dollars the new manager is terrible has huge ego working at a tire shop lol. Spent thousands of dollars at this place. Will never go back.

    I wish we were able to not leave a star. I was a customer with the old Taylor’s Company for over 25 yrs…. This new company that’s come in is absolutely horrible. 3 hours for an oil change and only 3 people sitting in the waiting area. Another time I was told that it would take 2 hours before they could look at one of my tires…. I’ll never go there again. Everyone that I know says the same thing. They’ve lost tons of business!!! Don’t waste your time going there…..

    Probably the last trip to Taylor Tire. 20 plus years as a customer and no need to go back for poor service. Oil change and front tires plus motor mount replacement. Font end alignment as well. Truck retuned to me with three indicators on dash flashing. Two for traction control and check engine light. Asked about it at counter and was told they were already on. Nobody informed me. No lights on dash when I took it in. Offered no help and informed me they were too busy to look at it at that time. Asked for suggestions and was told to check elsewhere. What!!!

    Poor customer service for loyal customer, got there at 9:30a for an oil change on Saturday, I waited for 2 hours watched them do multiple other oil changes until I requested my keys back. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here and this is how you reward loyal customers? I’ll never bring any of my fleet vehicles or personal vehicles back. When ownership changed I stuck with you guys but the is wholly unacceptable.
