I was told by the Lawrenceburg store manager when I needed my tire pressure checked and that I had nitrogen that they've never had nitrogen and no tire discounters does, and I just got it there 6 weeks earlier and my tires were purchased at tire discounters. Well today guess what? I'm in Madison at Tire Discounters getting nitrogen in my tires. I went there on 9.5.24. I had 3 different appointments for 3 sets of tires and alignment. Spent from 8 PM til 7:30 PM in their store. While I understand issues arise beyond their control, their management team is very lacking. The store manager was having a confrontation with the service manager in the front lobby of the store, where I could hear the whole conversation. This is not acceptable. Take the manager in a private location if you have to address concerns. In addition, prior to my appt, I called and received quotes for the 3 sets of tires. I was overcharged on my vehicle, which they failed to do anything about, providing excuses why the quote was incorrect. Again not acceptable. I spent over $3,200 in the store for them to not even value my concerns. I filed a complaint through their support line, to which I was told a Regional Manager would contact me. Gary did contact me and said he would look into my concerns and get back with me. To this day, I haven't heard another word from them. It is a shame they lack management and customer service skills. I left truck with them, the guy said it would take about an hour so I again went to get a bite to eat only to return an hour later to see my truck STILL in the spot I parked it!! They explained they were waiting on oil for a Prius and could not move the vehicle out of the bay to begin my truck. Asked for my keys back and left with zero service. If you want cheap tires, I’m sure they do a good job. If you want higher quality tires- go some place else.
I had 4 Michelin Defenders put on my F150, but had vibrations in my tires from the day I left their shop. The reason for 2 stars is they tried, but it took 4 visits, two different set of brand new tires for them to tell me I had a bent rim. Didn’t have any issues before I got there, and the bent rim was on the inside- hmm.
I agreed to purchase a refurbished rim for them to order.
So on my 5th visit, they gave me an appointment at 4:00, and at 5:00, when I still hadn’t gotten my rim put on, I asked if there was a problem, they told me they allow walk ins- ok, so what’s the point of an appointment if you’re not going to service me then- my time isn’t important?
Left the shop at 5:30, and the ride still doesn’t feel right. But, I’m done, not going back.

They done good work on my vehicle so I would say the mechanic is pretty good, but when it comes to screwing someone over on parts and labor this place is top notch. Two bolts that cost $12.39 each I was charged $131 for both. Labor that might of took a minute or two to change the bolts out, they charged me a full hour at $145. I went into have my tires balanced and asked them to check my alignment due to my wheel shaking, the manager had them check it. The report came back that it was less than 2/10s of a degree off, he had them fix it while they had it up, then decided not to charge me for it. He has no idea how that made my day! They are conscientious about checking items that affect safety, which I appreciate when my wife or children bring their cars. Even though management has changed several times, the culture has remained consistent. Since we moved to Indiana in 2002, we have been mostly doing business with the Lawrenceburg store. There have been a few occasions when we have also been to the Harrison, Ohio store, the Western Hills store, Harrison Ave. & the Monfort Heights store on North Bend Road; ALL of which have also been EXCELLENT & POSITIVE experiences. I like walking in the door at the Lawrenceburg location and being greeted by name even before I make it to the desk; I enjoy doing business with people who take the time to get to know who their customers are. Though employees have changed some over the years, all the desk people got to know me rather quickly and remembered my name, the newest one is Randy Rice and I cannot say enough good things about him.
