I've since discovered they didn't perform the promotional free alignment, didn't provide a courtesy check of the 3 other tires (which were about 10 lbs less), and worst of all, the tire isn't the same as the others! In fact, I can't find markings stating it's a run-flat, which is what the vehicle currently has/requires!! I’ve previously purchased a set of tires here three years ago. This week my son was home from college as he works at a local hospital and he had a leak in a tire. While he was working I took it to tire discounter for a repair, this was not the car I bought tires for years ago. They were super busy but the manager said he would get me in. They found a nail in the tire, dismounted it, properly patched it from the inside, remounted, rebalanced and reinstalled the tire. While they were working I was getting some bad medical news on the phone which was really frustrating. When they got my kids car done he handed me the keys said you’re good to go but I said I had not paid. He said you’re good. - Rating 1.0March 2, 2023I scheduled an appointment. I dropped my car off at 8 when the shop opened. I was greeted by Les and he was not the friendliest. He told me what I was scheduled to receive and it was not even close to what I put in the request. I wanted to get my tires checked and he said I wanted a wheel alignment and other items. I explained what I wanted. I received a call from a service manager on 2/27 and he told me that I needed brakes. Everything else even the tires I had requested to be checked. I told him to go ahead with the brakes and to make sure the tires were checked. Was told the car would be ready Tuesday. I called on Tuesday to check and Les immediately told me that I wasn't being responsive to their phones calls. His tone was not the most appropriate. I explained to him that I did in fact speak with someone and was told that my car would be ready Tuesday. Well the car was not ready on Tuesday. I picked it up on Wednesday evening!! I walked out of the shop with new brakes but the tires were at the same level. They were NEVER looked at. Looks like I need to find another shop to get this done for me. Never taking my vehicle back. Today was the 2nd consecutive terrible experience at the Fishers IN location. Both times I set an appointment in advance for an oil change, rotate, and balance. I was told it would take about 1.5 hours to do the job. Today I came back after an hour and 15 minutes and they hadn’t even started working on my vehicle. This is the 2nd consecutive time I was told an excessive delay was due to someone pulling the wrong vehicle in for service. TD makes it very difficult, inconvenient, and frustrating to use the “free rotate and balance” that comes with purchasing a set of tires. They had no problem getting me in timely when they were selling me a set of tires. Since my lunch break is over I’m heading back to work without the R&B and oil change. This shop is conveniently located off 69 and on my way to work. The store opened at 8 and I noticed the staff working hard well before opening. I caught one of staff members outside the back of the store already hard at work at 7:30 and he was kind enough to answer some questions for me. The staff worked efficiently to fix my tire and get me back on the road as fast as possible. I appreciated their willingness to change the game plan in the middle of the service to best support the customer. Lee was a professional and treated me respectfully. Take care and we will see ya again when you need us.Rating 1.0November 28, 2022I visited this shop twice for regular oil change services in a year and my experience was worst both the times. During first service, after doing the oil change they returned the vehicle without putting the oil cap back on the engine. This lead to oil spills on entire engine as nobody would assume such a silly mistake by professional mechanics. After complaining, they refilled the oil but now I realized that it has caused damaged to Alternator of a car which is just 4 years from the date of manufacturing. Again, during 2nd visit, they replaced the oil with wrong viscosity i.e. 5w20 instead 0w20 required on my vehicle and upon complaining they said Mechanic applied the wrong sticker so not to worry but their receipt clearly shows 5W20 instead of 0W20. Along with the oil change service, I had specifically requested for preventive checks services to be done but they did not do the tests and returned the vehicle without doing pre-checks. They also do not provide any report of diagnostics checks. This clearly shows that their mechanics are unprofessional. We waste lot of time and energy but don't get the job done right. All their mistakes with oil services actually leads to larger damages to your vehicle overtime which I am paying for it now with replacement of Alternator. - Rating 1.0November 19, 2022Tire Discounters has once again failed me. They damaged my vehicle told me to take somewhere else and I did at my expense. When questioned about reimbursement they approved it initially and now the compliance department has denied it because the repair wasn't necessary. I'm disappointed in their customer service, failure to effectively communicate what to do if damage is caused,and lack of knowledge of the managers in the establishment. I took my car in for service at 9am for an oil change. I was told it would be ready in 2 hours. At noon, I hadn't received a call so I contacted them. I was told that my oil cap was stripped and I needed to return to where it was previously serviced because they couldn't get the cap out. I explained that they were the last place that serviced my car and was told I'd get a call back. When I hadn't received a call two hours later I went up to the shop to check on the status. Despite having paperwork and explaining that the last service happened there the manager, Brad, continued to imply that I had taken the car somewhere else and that I would have to take it to BMW because they couldn't fix it. He did offer to send the estimate received to his corporate office, but said he couldn't say that the damage was done there. Irritated, I left and took my car home. Once there my car began leaking oil as a result of them attempting to complete the oil change. I was able to get an appointment at BMW and the repair will be costly.
