We include a FREE alignment on any 4-tire purchase. So, if all you need is an alignment, we've gotten pretty good at it!

    Our job isn't to sell you brakes. Our job is to make sure you are safe and that your brakes are ready for anything. Even if that anything is a daredevil squirrel. We will explain the suggested or required brake services needed, and give you a written copy of our brake diagnostics. Or, we'll get to say "you're good - nothing needed!"

    Great people and great prices. I was able to get front and back brakes done for the cost that other people in town charge for one or the other. It really saved me a lot of money.

    I haven't been to Fred's for service in over 15 years.I took my car in about a week ago to get a leak in my tire fixed. It was the day after a holiday and they were very busy. I had to wait a good while.I didn't say anything cause this was last minute and I had to go out of town the next day and needed my tire fixed.Soon the service was complete and I was on my way. I'm so appreciative for the great service and pleasant staff. I won't tell you the cost but I will say it was NOTHING compared to other local businesses.If you are looking for good service and friendly people Fire's is your place!!

    DO NOT USE!!!!
    Was charged for A/C work on my car in October 2023 (told i did not have a leak and just needed freon). A/C not working May 2024 and was told that it would cost $2400 (now compressor and A/C line have a leak). Brian told me that they originally put the wrong freon in my car in October so he put more freon in my car (free of charge and my A/C was cooling) but the A/C was not cooling when I picked the car up an hour later. When I spoke with Brian about the wrong freon being put in my car, he then tried to backtrack and say they only charged me for the wrong freon in October and I lucked up. I told him that I seen that the wrong freon could damage the entire A/C unit and he basically told me to prove that.
    He interrupted me and spoke over me every time I spoke to him and when I asked him if he could just listen he said to just get to the point and when I started talking he again talked over me.
    Will NEVER USE this company AGAIN!!

    I had an appointment for a tire rotation and an alignment. I had to stay for service as I live on far side of town. Everyone there were very professional and I did not mind waiting. After all, an alignment is not a five minute job.

    A mere shadow of the company it used to be. Fred Tommy Terry and Wayne are what made it work. This new place is tryin. Tryin to make a dollar thats all. Not tryin to help anybody. Thats why most their employees left too. Thats not how Fred's was. They should change the name. Its an insult to the customers, employees, and family that used to be there.

    Don’t buy tires here! I was on a trip to North GA from Florida and stopped in Columbus to get two new tires for front and have them installed. Bought Michelin Defenders. Once I was on the interstate, going through Atlanta, felt some wobbling and vibration. Started getting “Driver attention low” alerts due to the wobbling. Then I got a “low tire pressure” alert. I stopped at a gas station and called the Columbus branch. They were no help and never apologized for shoddy installation. They suggested I take it to another branch to get it looked at-Alabama was the closest, which would have meant 100 miles driving through mountains with a wobbling tire! I took it to a local tire place (Not tire discounters) and they said it was badly out of balance and the air pressure was low in both of the new tires. If you value your safety and the safety of your family, don’t use these people

    Excellent always! They saved my day at the last minute before closing and always take care of me! Anytime I call them and ask if they can check on something with my truck they tell me to come in and they double check all my issues. Very friendly and professional and I appreciate that

    Got them to replace my AC compressor and continues to leak the Freon out over the winter. Took it back to get it checked out but wasn’t fixed it is still leaking Freon.
