I called the store and the employee told me to bring it in and they would fix it or give me a new one by the end of the day. When I brought it in he said they would not be able to help me that day. I said fine how about the next day he said no can’t do that either. I called the Kings Mills tire discounters and they went out of their way to help. Was told the 1st appointment they had was that Friday at 2. I put it in my calendar as we were talking and even confirmed again before I hung up. When I got there for my appointment, they couldn't find it. Then said oh well your appointment was yesterday at 2. I said no, I was told Friday. I got no apologies and was made to feel as if it was my fault for missing my appointment. I asked if the could squeeze me in that day because I was leaving the next day for vacation and was right at the mark for my warranty requirements for oil changes. Dominic and the rest of the staff at the Tire Discounters in Maineville went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I wasn't stuck there all day, and to make sure I got where I needed to go. They handled the situation very well, even when my car fought them along the way.

Received a call informing me my transfer case was leaking. The price was over $800. I picked my truck up late the next day. When I drove to work there was a noise coming from the front end, and a lot oil dripping from the front. Stopped T.D on the way home, for them to check it. I was informed that while repairing the leak the broke my transfer case. By the time the store got the O.K from there higher ups for me to get a rental all the rental stores were closed. I had NO transportation to work the next day, and lost a days pay. The guy I was dealing with blamed the broken transfer case on the new technician. I not sure if he was telling me they hire sub-par technicians, if so why turn then lose on some ones vehicle? I under stand mistakes happen, but don't point blame. It doesn't matter if the tech work for T.D ten days or ten years. the tech is a representative of your company. They messed up "YOU OWN IT!"
The next day I picked up a rental witch I had to pay for. I was told T.D would reimburse me.
I pick my truck up a week late. The transfer case was replaced with one from a junk yard. I gave the receipt to the store. they made a copy of it. I was informed it would be sent to Mike Smith there district manager. I had tried to call Mike Smith and his boss several times during the week, left voice mails and they never returned the call. When I finely spoke with him about the trouble, the lost wages, me having to pay for the rental all he could say was "That's unfortunate" and he would call about the reimbursement. Another week has gone by with no call.
I completely understand thing happen. The way this has been handled is unheard of. What ever happen to the days of customer service and doing a job right?
I will drive past T.D to go where people care. Both as a tech and as a manager and district manager.

I have been a customer of TD for several years at this store and the Tylersville store. Lorin was always great to work with as well.
I got my car back Christmas Eve and it was the best present I got.
I'm heading back in the morning for new tires.
