So I call into the corporate number on Friday morning and book an 8am time for Saturday morning, the next day. It took 15 minutes for the the young lady to book an appointment for an oil change and (1) tire replacement, fine no big deal. I get the text confirmation during the conversation. Next morning my wife and kids and I are scrambling to get up at 7am, they have events that need vehicular transportation, I have to get the car in and get it out so I can be #uberdad and get the kids around in conjunction with my own appointments. I drop the car off at 815am, there are ZERO cars in the bays (important point for later). The attendant, who was nice & polite, says "uhhh...I don't have you down here sir". 'Here's my text confirmation'. "Oohhh...ok. Someone must have screwed it up but we can get you in". While he's getting the tire info, I check DiscountTire, who forced my hand into going to T.D. in the first place. The same tire is $76 cheaper at DiscountTire. I tell the attendant "excuse me, your competition has it for $102. It's a Honda tire. I like Pirelli's but $178??? Can you price match?" Him. 'Ohhht...no sir'. 'Ok, just do the oil change please'. So I then run, 1.5 miles back to the house, work out for an 1.5 hours, then run, 1.5 miles back to the shop. 'hey man I'm here to pick up my car'. (ALL of the bays are completely full by now) "uhhhh....well, you're the NEXT in line sir, we can get you in etc...." I then cut him off.... "_______, I brought my car here at 8:15 in the am, it's now 10:15, it takes 2 hours to do an oil change?" 'I'm sorry sir blah blah' Just give me my keys please, thank you. Oil change was listed at $54.99 they were going to charge $70.00... BUT, he was nice and polite like I said. I may give them another chance. Valvoline Instant Oil change in the meantime. I have been going to the store for years and I just want to say that I appreciate the outstanding customer service and honesty.
I truly feel that they care about the customers and you don’t see that very often anymore. They also told me that when they were rotating the tires that they accidentally broke the wheel cover and would be ordering a new one for me. Recently took our family's SUV in for a routine tire rotation and end up spending 3 hours in the waiting room. Technician striped multiple lung nuts and posts which where replaced with damaged and not original equipment. Tried on multiple times to have shop manager replace damaged parts but never received call back after told "they" would call when parts came in.
Disappointed in lack of follow up or concern in fixing damage on such a critical/safety parts of our family's SUV. Finally gave up, order, paid for and replaced parts myself.
